These amino acids are considered to be essential as they cannot be synthesised by the body, so must be consumed from dietary sources.

BCAA Powder Usage, Dosage and Side Effects:

How BCAA Powder can be taken by adding the recommended dose to drinks such as water or fruit juice, or by placing the recommended dose into empty capsules and swallowed.
When BCAA can be taken at any point in the day/night. As a dietary supplement we recommend taking BCAA Powder pre, during and post workout.
Dosage The recommended dose for BCAA is between 4 and 8 grams, 2-4 times per day.
Side Effects BCAA are considered to be safe with no reported side effects, even with very high doses. However, people with medical conditions such as kidney disease or dysfunction, high blood pressure or other blood conditions should not take Branched Chain Amino Acids Powder and they should never be administered to ALS patients (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
